Our 2010 Calendar is really beautiful this year,
with colorful male songbirds emblazoned on the front cover, their
corresponding females on the back cover, and a coupla hundred other
bird pictures inside. This includes a full page bird for each month.
All shots were mine, and from the past year. Holidays and other special
days are on the calendar, as well as GOS trips.
This is one of our main sources
of revenue and we especially need help this year!
The cost of calendars depends of how many of these (Christmas gifts!)
you buy. Here is the breakdown:
The calendars are $20, but you can get 5 or more for $15/per, or 10
or more for $10/per. There will be a modest amount on your invoice
for postage.

Jamaica, Queen of the Air
Created both from fifty years of ornithological training and a
vivid
imagination, Jamaica is Jim's experiment with melding fact and
fiction into one epic life of a Red-tailed Hawk. Written to educate
as much as entertain,
Jamaica leaves the reader spellbound, as survival and determination
are
personified through the mind and instincts of a mighty bird of
prey.

Beyond
Teaching is a heartwarming, adventuresome and at time
hysterical account of a young man with a passion for sharing his
profound knowledge of the outdoors and its inhabitants with even
younger people. From summer camps to biology classrooms, Jim sharpened
his ability stand and deliver. Finally, the show took wings and
went public, with clubs, newspapers, books and excursions around
the world.
There is life Beyond Teaching.
